THERE IS FURTHER RESEARCH TO DO - Allens seem well established at Binham in the sixteenth and seventeenth century. Unfortunately the parish register just doesn't go back quite far enough to give Ellena or Ellen's baptism but there are five sixteenth century Binham wills in the name of Allens that may prove interesting.
