1791 30th September. Married Abraham Bacon at Beaumont-cum-Moze. Abraham Bacon of Wix.

Children: Abraham Bacon 1792, Daniel Bacon 1795, Elizabeth Bacon 1797, James Bacon 1801, Anna Bacon 1805, Mary Bacon 1808, James Bacon 1810.

THERE IS FURTHER RESEARCH TO DO - Daniel Burgess, who would have possibly been born in the 1730 or 40s, and his wife Ann, have not been found again in records although an Ann Bacon was a witness at the wedding of Abraham Bacon and Elizabeth Burgess?

 

There was another Daniel Burgess who was baptised in 1723 at Beaumont. He was second son of William Burgess and Ann late Spurgin, and grandson of Stephen Burgess and his wife Martha late Rich. Stephen and Martha Burgess had several children at Beaumont and appear to have started the line there.

 

Daniel (1723) had a sibling William 1722, a wheelwright, who moved to Kirby married Margaret and had a son William and later Mary had William, John, Daniel, Mary and Sarah. He left a will. Other siblings of Daniel (1723) were, Alice, Alice, Alice, Ann, Spurden, and Thomas who was baptised in 1736 and later moved to West Mersea, Joseph and another Alice.

 

Daniel Burgess (1723) married Elizabeth and had a daughter Christain 1750. He then married Mary and they had a daughter Mary in 1751, who married Isaac Abbott, Alice 1754, Daniel 1756-1837 who married Elizabeth Box and had two children and Mary Starling who had three children, Christain 1761-1761, and another Christain who married Giles Cutting and had children in Great Oakley.

 

All these people above ought in some way be related to the Daniel Burgess at the top of the page but no clues have been found, so far, as to how.
