THERE IS FURTHER RESEARCH TO DO - There may have been other children born to Jonathan and Margaret before Samuel in 1755.
Jonathan Fairbrother witnessed a marriage between John Stiles and Martha Blowers at Kirby in 1771. They may have been related.
The baptism for Jonathan has not turned up anywhere as yet. In some of the surrounding parishes there are other Fairbrothers about Jonathan's age who may have been siblings or relatives.
Joseph Fairbrother and Sarah - no marriage found.

FAIRBROTHER - According to a surname project based at the University College in London Fairbrother was derived from an English occupation. It is a name that in earlier times appeared in the north west, central and southern area of England with just a few found in the county of Essex.
