THERE IS FURTHER RESEARCH TO DO - There are no records for any Heighoes at West Bradenham apart from the baptisms of Rose's two illegitimate children, and no records found yet anywhere else for Rose Heighoe. Daughter Rose Heighoe went onto marry a William Phillips in 1763 at Necton. They moved to Great Ellingham and had several children baptised there. There is no sign of James Heighoe.
It looks possible that Rose's grandparents were John Heyho and Rosann Welton who were married in Saham Toney in 1672. They had children: John 1673, Robert 1674, Mary 1675, Ann 1677, Judith 1680, Thomas 1687. Mary and Judith died young and nothing more has been found on John, Ann and Thomas.
John and Rosann's son Robert may have been the father of Rose. He married first Mary Vincent in Saham Toney in 1697. She was buried in 1704. Then he married Mary Aggs in 1705. Robert had several children baptised: Robert 1697, Mary 1700, Elizabeth 1702, John 1703, Judith 1706, Mary 1708, Elizabeth 1711, John 1714, Thomas 1717, Joseph 1721, William 1727, Sarah 1728.
There are several wills for Heighoe, Heyhoe (other spellings) around Saham Toney that may help.
